His Majesty the King congratulated the Foundation on 50 years of history, for its "social vocation, solidarity, dedication, and commitment. There are countless concrete projects, small actions, outstretched hands, gestures that have changed people's lives." He also thanked the Foundation for its social work, as "every society needs business activity, but it must do everything possible to weave a dense network of solidarity, social action , and to enhance our human capital, not only professionally, but also in terms of values." He encouraged the Foundation to "increase its capacity to reach more people in the future." During the ceremony, Fundacion MAPFRE named His Majesty the King an "Honorary Volunteer" of the organization, a moment he gratefully acknowledged and shared with a representation of the 9,800 volunteers who actively collaborate with Fundación MAPFRE each year .

Antonio Huertas, President of Fundación MAPFRE, highlighted that “in these 50 years, the foundation has demonstrated an intense social commitment, always focusing on people, especially the most vulnerable , and it has done so in collaboration with more than 2,000 social organizations , with thousands of volunteers in dozens of countries and promoting the development of people through education, nutrition and health in nearly 30 countries. The President of Fundación MAPFRE also stressed that “we have an obligation to help, it is our responsibility , we owe it to those less fortunate.”

The event, attended by more than 450 guests, provided visibility to the areas of activity with the greatest impact, such as social and labor inclusion and development , which Fundación MAPFRE is developing on the ground, particularly in Latin America, to break the cycle of poverty and transform the lives of millions of people.
